Our Affordable Housing Recovery Program is the final element of the Recovery Continuum. It is designed to assist residents with applying the tools they’ve acquired to live a wholesome, alcohol/drug free life on their recovery road. Formerly homeless and addicted men and women:
- Enjoy private rooms and share living/dining space in a drug and alcohol-free environment
- Participate in on-going addictions counseling and social services
- Develop leadership skills by serving as suite representatives
- Contribute to creating a community of support and accountability
Sustaining a lifestyle of recovery requires continuous discipline and dedication. The program prepares residents to transition from long-term affordable housing to independent living. Graduates interviewed one year after completion reported the following results:
- 96% Uninterrupted Sobriety
- 98% Gainfully employed
- 98% Improved family relationships
- 99% Reside in safe housing
- 15% Purchased home or condo
