Every spring, summer and fall, Samaritan Inns opens its doors and properties to volunteers who wish to keep our 8 properties clean, warm, and home-like for our residents. We carefully customize meaningful and well-structured activities for groups which can range in size from just a few people to up to 30. Our hope is that, as participants are impacting our organization with their work, they form relationships among themselves, our staff, and our residents.
Sample projects include: Painting walls or fences, gardening/planting, stripping and staining furniture, weeding, power washing walls, cleaning windows, polishing floors, etc. We do ask that you donate the supplies.
