Samaritan Inns’ Treatment and Recovery Continuum has proven results in our unique holistic approach to treating those with addictions, by providing structured housing and healing services in an environment of support and accountability, giving homeless and addicted men and women the opportunity to rebuild their lives.
Samaritan Inns’ Adult Treatment Program is the first phase of our Continuum, serving men and women age 18 to 65 desiring freedom from a life of homelessness and addictions. The program is certified by the DC Department of Behavioral Health. We are also a Medicaid approved provider.
The first phase of the program is a highly structured, 28-day residential treatment program where men and women experiencing homelessness and addiction:
- Receive education and confront addictive behaviors
- Learn the 12-step Alcoholics/Narcotics Anonymous principles and practices
- Rebuild physical health through a balance of nutrition, exercise, and sleep
- Benefit from individual and group counseling, and accountability
